Harbour Island, Bahamas

Harbour Island was the base for the fencing operation for pirated goods and also the trading station where pirates could purchase supplies,powder and shot.  It was run by the pirate John Cockram and the merchant Richard Thompson. Cockram married Thompson’s daughter, creating a multi-generational family business.
